Sometimes called the Monarch Magnet, meadow blazing star provides a weeks-long, late-summer nectar source. It’s valuable for native bees including the endangered rusty patched bumblebee, Minnesota’s state bee. The tall, showy flowers make a striking addition to native gardens, shorelines or wet-meadow plantings.
