A small part of BWSR's budget is made up of transfers from other state agencies, federal funds, and special revenue funds. For example, some staff positions, including some in our wetlands section and our Technical Training Coordinator, are jointly funded by both federal and state dollars and work at both levels for increased efficiency. In the 2020-2021 biennium, 9% of BWSR's budget came from other funding sources.
