January 2021 Featured Plant: Common yarrow

Named after the Trojan war hero Achilles, common yarrow has been used as a fever reducer, pain reliever, sleep aid, and as a treatment for stomach disorders and hemorrhaging. Found throughout Minnesota, the native species appears in gardens and restorations.
